Section II - Abbrevation Audio Files

This section consists of audio files narrating some commonly used abbreviations in transcription. Abbreviations are used very frequently by physicians in their dictations. Knowledge of some of the most frequently used abbreviations therefore becomes essential. Often the same abbreviation has two or more different meanings. However, with practice and depending on the content one can easily identify to which definition the abbreviation is relating to. Transcribe these abbreviations and then compare them with the final transcript in the Transcribed Documents section.
